Wallingford - Bill Matthews can inject life into a white cell, add color to a nerve ending and make a furry-legged tick creep across skin.Matthews and his partner, Wallingford-native Dena Winkleman are graphic artist primed to send art and science on an animated joy ride even Disney would envy. But you won't find Mickey Mouse in any of these frames.Matthews and Winkleman are trained medical illustrators. "It's storytelling," said Matthews. "They hire us to tell the story of what they did and clarify the steps and procedures."We'll show a view you could never see before," adds Winkleman."They would call another company to show animation of a beating heart," said Matthews. "But they would call LifeHouse to put them inside the beating heart."
